Sorrow and Three Kings
Sweden and Finland

BACK
Sorrow Three Kings
Sorrow stands in Eggeby Gård Peoples Park just
outside Stockholm. The statue turns around in spite
of the saying; "dont look back", or stands paralyzed,
wanting to escape the other way.
This sculpture is made of labrador and diabas,
and measures 20 x 26 x 120 cm.
The original hand was broken and replaced by
a piece of black granite when the whole figure
was vandalized and broken in two. Fortunately,
everything was successfully glued back together.
The Three Kings is in Kankanpää, Finland.
This sculpture was made during a Rock and Stone symposium.
I was puzzled by the name Rock and Stone until I discovered that the Rock part of the name was a local brand of beer.
The Three Kings is made of granite and teak and measures 180 x 60 x 23 cm.
The wooden part was replaced by iron over the years.
